Is It Rerun Time Again?
Before I tackle today's subject matter, I just wanted to say, "Thank God for the weekend!"
Friday was my first day off in 8 days. EIGHT! I really didn't want to get up for my mani/pedi with Jaime, but I did. I enjoyed the few hours hanging out with Jaime before she surrendered her single card for the exclusive married club.
Wow.
As of yesterday, she's gotten herself hitched. It was a nice celebration. I hope to see them next week when they get back from Italy. Just quick enough to see them before Nilly and I have to fly off to Jacksonville.
Hmm, no more unhitched friends. I guess this time, all we have to worry about is getting pregnant. What pressure, right?
On another note, Diablo Blanco had finally emailed me. He finally found time to drop me a line and tell me that he's all fine and dandy behind the enemy lines. Hope his Iraqi trip would be hohum. I want him back safe in the arms of Clarissa and Alexis. Even if he's trading German sites for the Utah plains. At this point, he doesn't know what's worse. I told him as long as he's alive, he shouldn't be upset as to where he's headed.
Anywhoo...
I can't believe GG is on rerun already. WHY don't they just give us Jess' return? I want Jess back. Heck, I want Jess to actually clobber Logan! Okay, for all Logan lovers (*cough* Amy *cough*), Logan is 'looking' like a concerned boyfriend. Despite the awkward talk between Logan and Richard, I don't still buy the Logan act.
Speaking of Richard, how about last week's episode? I am a daddy's girl. Yes, I do admit it. I argue with my dad with as much passion as I love my old man but I can honestly tell you, Richard is doing a good job being a grandfather that is admitting he was wrong for undermining Lorelai's decision to get Rory back on the Yale track.
Part of me was upset at Lorelai for being as obstinate as her daughter. ASP is making the whole episode look more like a test of stubbornness more than anything else. I love this show, but my goodness! Let's get a character to eat some humble pie and get back to some real squabbling. When Zach and Lane are actually getting a plot faster than a Rory and Lorelai reconciling, I have to say I am not really feeling the love to collecting this season's DVD boxed set.
On to better things, VM spoilers are leading me to believe that Daddy Keith isn't going to be the new sheriff of Neptune. The Echolls trial (and Logan's arrest) takes me back to Season one. I am still trying to convince Nilly to allow me to open my VM set and just keep my Season 4 GG (and the season 5 GG coming out in December) as my Christmas presents. I just want to watch the whole VM season uninterrupted.
Anyway, here's this week's news. Enjoy!
--------------------------------------------
Episode 6.10: He's Slippin' 'Em Bread... Dig?
Airdate: November 22, 2005
Zach is quite moody and even almost misses sound check. He says he doesn't like the usual set up of the band, he bought himself a wireless mic, he even introduces a new band member and throws the set list of songs to be played! Let's say the other band members are confused and don't know how to react. Will the band be able to perform with such a different mood and setting? Liz and people from her Renaissance Fair are at the Inn. Sookie also appears. Source: SpoilerFix.com
Episode 2.06: Rat Saw God
Airdate: November 9, 2005
The results of the sheriff's election are announced, but Veronica doesn't have much time to process the results after Abel Koontz (Christian Clemenson) asks her to locate his daughter, who disappeared after the $3 million payoff from Jake Kane. Meanwhile, Logan is arrested for Felix's murder -- and briefly shares a cell with his dad. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator Joss Whedon has a cameo as a car-rental agency assistant manager. With Aaron Echolls (guest star Harry Hamlin) facing trial for Lilly's murder, the previously accused Abel Koontz appears to enlist Veronica's help in finding his missing daughter Amelia, leading to a confrontation with Kane Software's head of security. Meanwhile, Logan is arrested for the murder of biker Felix Tombs when a witness comes forward and meets with a surprise visitor while in jail. Later, Keith anxiously awaits the results of the race for Sheriff on election night. Source: UPN
Episode 2.10: One Angry Veronica
Airdate: December 2005
There is no time off for Veronica even if it's the Christmas break. She has to do jury duty. The case is about two 21-year-old men who were charged with aggravated assault for beating up a girl. Veronica will start exploring her university options. Sheriff Lamb reluctantly helps Keith on an investigation. It seems Mr. Mars is investigating the sheriff's department. He interrogates all deputies (including Leo and Sacks) but also Logan. Source: SpoilerFix.com

*cough*i heard you*cough*
now, i would glady take jess over logan. jess was my first love, lady! as much as i love MC, i will be the first to admit that rory/jess chemistry was WAY more explosive than the excuse for a relationship we're seeing now. he's cute, for me. he's not so believable for her. why? because her man is only a guest star to bring the show out of hte toilet, that's why. ASP is nuts. Throw money at mr. ventimiglia. I'll help. especially if i can tuck my money into his pants myself!
or, she could write rogan like i do. or like elaida does. or hell, like you do, even though you are gonna let us trory lovers have our field day in some respect as well.
sigh.
can't we just see nekkid logans on two networks? why won't they work with us more? all nekkid logan, all the time.
;)
ames
I'm more than fine with the nekkid Logan idea.
Just, not on GG.
RT! We need some LoVe-in, and we need it now!
