Contemplating Diesel

Where is my DeAnn when I need her?

So, I'm guilty. Guilty of watching 'The Pacifier'. Nilly wanted to see it to see the duck. I wanted to see it because of... Vin. Yes, I like the Vin. I am guilty of watching F&F because of him. Paul Walker is easy on the eyes, too, but I like my men with a little muscle. Who am I kidding? A lot of muscle. I watched XXX. I hated Asia Argento, tatoo freaking chick. D and I discussed this many times. I also watched A Man Apart. Could've been a good movie if it wasn't so slow paced!

Back to the topic, The Pacifier wasn't a bad watch. On the scale of action family movies, I give it a solid 8. It's better than Kindergarten Cop. I haven't watched any of the Spy Kids so I can't compare. The girl that played Lulu was great. Every time Zoe appeared, I keep on mixing her with her American Dreams character, Meg. Lauren Graham with Vin also made the whole thing cute. Hmm, picturing Vin as Luke... *grins*

Anyway, thanks to Amy, MNT is back on track. Let's see where this goes, shall we?

I so can't take credit for MNT being back on track. You did such a good job with this chapter, revealing just enough more of the story to make us want more and more.

As for Vin, well, I, too saw XXX. But I was forced, by four boys, and practically held down and made to stay in the room. I wasn't a happy camper. As for The Pacifier being better than Kindergarten Cop--God, I hope so. I HATED that movie!

CAll me crazy, but I like Will Smith as my action movie hero man. I loved Bad Boys. :) What can I say, it's a theme in my life.

I haven't seen The Pacifier yet, but it's on the list. I'll be moving it up soon. I just have to find the time to go down to rent it and watch it.

Katherine

I'm in love with Vin! Not to the point of CMM or TS, but it's up there.

Vin is just yummy. And that gravelly voice. Can you just imagine him whispering naughty thoughts in your ear?

Okay Amy, I know you are grossed out right now. LOL.

ames said...

So very. I'm going to look at Cillian Murphy pics to cheer myself up. . .

As long as it's the CM of BB not of 28 Days Later. He was retarded in that movie. I barely reconized him in Girl With the Pearl Earring.

Katherine said...

He was in Girl with the Pearl Earring?

And yes, that voice... I want him. I need him.

Oh baby, oh baby.

Yep. He was the butcher's son who had sex with SJ's character in the market. Standing up, no less! Who would've thunk, eh?

ames said...

Who doesn't like a stand up man?

Especially one that looks like CM. And I've never seen 28 Days Later, or GWPE. I'm all about the Batman, baby.

Geesh, I need a cold shower.

Let me save you some time and money. DON'T. 28 Days Later was so horrible (especially if you're watching it with a bunch of hospital people pointing out the discrepancies) I wanted my money back.

GWPE was great. You might want to watch it alone unless your hubby is a fan of art.

Nice eyes. Scruffy. Smart.

I like.

But why can't he live in Pa? Why are there no guys like that in Pa? I want a guy. I miss having a boyfriend. I haven't had one in over a year, as my lovely friend pointed out to me so nicely the other day. But I can't help it if the Poconos are filled with icky transplants from the ghettos and rednecks!

I want to go back to Reading. Now there is a city with some good looking men. Not to mention a lot of outlets to shop in!

He's cute for someone who's 23. LOL. Okay, I am old! I want someone with some dirt under the fingernails. I want someone who's scruffy because they lived the life not because the scruffy look is in. I want someone that could make me forget my name because he can do it well, not because he thinks he does it well.

Otherwise, he's cute. ;)

He's scruffy. I like scruffy. And he writes--swoons--like my Ethan. Not a bad resemblence, either.

but 23, I mean, I'd be robbing the cradle. I'm about to turn 26. I mean, not htat I'm forgetting I'm married, or anything. Ahem.

Love the hubby, love the hubby :)

Nah, 3 years isn't robbing the cradle. However, I'd remind him every now and then to wipe the milk off of his lips. LMAO.

So, have you commented on his blog yet? You think he'd actually visit our sites (K and mine) and read this? OMFG. He'd piss in his pants!

Yeah, remind yourself to love the hubby. LOL.

~M

ROTFL

No! I'm so not going to comment on his site. That'd be like cyber-cheating, wouldn't it?

Not that I haven't visited it. Where do you think I got the redneck quiz?

*hides from the fact that he might snoop into you guys' blogs and read this* I'm a happily married woman. Most of the time.

And K, maybe you can sweet talk him into coming to the Poconos. . .

a

Katherine said...

I'm 20! I'm gonna be 21 in December, so I'll be right up his alley, agewise.

I can only wish that he'd come to the Poconos. Although once here, he'd probably be swooped up before I even go to him. The good ones go fast up here. First come, first serve.

Katherine

Katherine said...

And definately remind yourselves that you are married. Both of you.

I'm the old maid.

Katherine

ames said...

Yes, we've been hogging the cyber hunk. You can have him. Want me to blog him and give him your blog address?

;) wink, wink.

a

Katherine said...

Oh, God. That's all I need. I'm desperate, but I think that's a bit much. My friend sending a blog invite to a guy who really wants her?

I'm not that sad.

Yet.

K,

I think he'll at least seek you out.

You still have all your teeth, right? And you don't have a sister named Zelda attached to your face like a wart (or the blob, take your pick)?

And you don't need to undo your shoes to count, right?

I'm mean.

Here I am, here I am!!! So scary how our deranged minds think alike...we were going to rent The Pacifier on the 4th, but Blockbuster was out of it. I do have a handy raincheck to get it next time I go in though...and you KNOW I will! Mmmmm...Diesel.
