One Last Note

I'm waiting for Amy's return from the A.Krauss concert tonight, her belated birthday present. Alas, sleep is calling my name so I just want to say, "Amy, hope you had a blast tonight. We'll talk hopefully tomorrow night or Saturday."

K, don't worry. I haven't forgotten you, either. This is advanced payment for the summary on Amy's story. At the rate I'm going, Davey and Anna's kids will have kids of their own.

Jackie, I hope this makes up for your MC vid. God, you and Amy are killing me! Where's my JJ when I need him? Cabana boy? Oh, cabana boy!

I had a blast: see my blog. I was a good girl, too. I only had to be told to behave once. :)

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the super yummy pic of my man! I'll have the summary ready soon. I'm almost done with it. FYI, it's not short. If it gets much longer, it might be more practical to read her actual story!

LMAO, you all are crazy! But I love you all for it.

I hope tomorrow would be a great scoop day. I need something to take my mind off TO's loudmouth.

I know, I am pissed about a football season that hasn't even started yet. I suck!

Yah, this was a lovely little gift.

and this is the second time that you have mentioned JJ, who is that...the only JJ that I can think of is Jack Johnson....

Yummy Joshua Jackson.

Yummy indeed.

Wish that boy was on something other than whiny DC reruns. They just started up season one again--just when I could start to stomach Dawson in the last season, they switch back to my stalling out until season three--pacey and joey-o-rama!

sorry I missed you tonight! Tomorrow?

lots to chat about. . .

hmm, I see.

Well, I leave him to you. He has never tripped my trigger, even as Pacey.

I think for the most part I tried to tune DC out, because my sister lived for it. She could tell you what song played in which episode, she was fanatical.

She wanted to be Joey Potter, the psyche of a middle schooler. Even now as a sophomore in college, she rushes out to get the boxed DVDs. She ruined the show for me. But she too loved JJ/Pacey.

Joey/Pacey was the only interesting thing in the whole show for me. The rest of it *esp Dawson* ruined it for me, lol.

Jackie, have you ever seen Cursed? My God, he was a yummy specimen other than the fact that MV was in it. WOOT! And he was the only one other than Mark Matkevitch that kept me glued to DC. Not even Oliver Hudson did that for me

JJ was very, very hot in Cursed. And MV is awesome! He was so funny. I was never a fan of DC much, I watched it enough times to get the general gist of what was going on, but I was more of a BtVS fanatic to really care too much.

Can't wait til Cursed hits bargin bin prices--some serious drooling during JJ and MV scenes will be occuring over and over and over.

that's all I have to say about that.

I have never seen Cursed, but the way you all are talking about it, maybe I'll have to change that.

okay well it's sharing time. In my junior year of college, my dad called the sorority, which freaked me out, because he never used to call on the house phone, but apparently he called everyone he knew trying to get ahold of me. Well it turns out that he up and quit his job as CFO of a Rehab hospital, needless to say I was shocked. I'm all, "Are you crazy? What about money? I have my semester housebill, tuition. Paul starts college next year. There are obligations...

I was told that he wasn't happy, and it was the final straw. So after 12 years he no longer worked there. But after that day I would get a phone call from him every afternoon telling me about the BtVS episode he had just watched. So that is how my dad spent his days, working around the house, golfing every morning and watching BtVS reruns.

Your dad sounds like he has his ducks in a row. Calling you about BtVS updates is funny. That's like dad telling me all about the A-Team episodes on TV land. Too hilarious!

CFO of a hospital is crazy work. So much bitching and moaning and no one is willing to give out suggestions to make things better.

At least you know your dad's going to be fine. Money may not grow on trees but it usually is the root of a lot of problems.

Yeah, it was crazy. There is so much more to that story. One day he called me to say that he decided to take a weekend seminar in real estate. Thought it would be interesting.

After the course he decided to take the license test for shits and giggles, and he passed. He went in there not even thinking that he would pass because it's supposed to be real hard. So, once he found out he passed, he decided to go into real estate. So, he did that for a year, and then he took a position as a realtor trainer, and then at the beginning of this year he went back to sales. And he seems much much happier, for which I'm glad.
