Dancing In The Pale Moonlight

If you haven't seen it yet, go. Run, if you must but I suggest seeing it.

What am I referring to? Batman Begins.

I've been wanting to see this movie since Christian Bale was cast in the role of Bruce Wayne. Honestly, I wanted to see it because, duh, it's Christian Bale. However, seeing it today, I can say that it's on top of my list to buy as soon as it comes out on video. Seriously, even if I have to give up my coffee money for it (and that is a biggie). Christopher Nolan (Memento) did it justice. I was disappointed when Darren Aronofsky dropped out of the project, but then, I liked how this one went. At 2 hours 10 minutes, the movie didn't drag nor was it too fast paced. Loved it. LOVED IT.

I'm not going to ruin the story for any and all of you who want to see it. However, I want to pose 3 things that we need to discuss as soon as you've seen the film:

(1) The Office Space reference: Didn't you get the memo?
(2) Liam Neeson holding a sword and thinking "Don't mess with a Jedi Master"
(3) Cillian Murphy and Tom Wilkinson vs. their movies 28 Days Later and The Full Monty

Do you think I can convince the in-laws to watch Batman again rather than watching Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan? Hmm, I can dream, right?

Anyway, if I won't be able to keep in touch, Happy Father's Day to you (if you're a dad) and yours.

It's on my list. I still haven't seen SOTP yet! Not that there are a lot of other films I want to see at the moment, but Batman is one the hubby wants to see, as well, so there is hope.

I hope you aren't too entirely bored at the concert. Take a notebook and some earplugs if all else fails. . .

I already have Lilly fully charged and ready to rock. It's like that commercial where the guy smuggles in his walkman to an opera and he was rocking out to some 70's band and he stood up to sing along when the diva came to sing? Yeah, that's me singing to DMB or FF when Willie's up on stage smoking his doobie with Bob.

Oi vei!

I'm going to BB tomorrow. I can't wait. It looks so good. Even with KH. (I hate her now. Not that I liked her too much before. Stupid side-mouth talker outer)

Yeah, I heard Christian Bale and pretty much was like, 'when can I buy my ticket?' I love him. I have ever since Little Women, and it developed even further when I saw American Psycho. He's an amazing actor. And completely hot. And built in this movie.

Alright, I'm ready to chat!
(1) The Office Space reference: Didn't you get the memo?
Loved it. Morgan Freeman said it the last time, and I was all--YEA! I almost started applauding in my seat. That guy deserved having his words thrown back in his face.

(2) Liam Neeson holding a sword and thinking "Don't mess with a Jedi Master"; had the same thought. They did a great job in weaving the story so that he created Batman, and then got destroyed by him.
(3) Cillian Murphy and Tom Wilkinson vs. their movies 28 Days Later and The Full Monty: Never saw 28 Days Later. Is that the Scarecrow guy? Cause if it is, I'll watch it. I know he's evil or whatever, but OH MY GOD. THAT's what my Ethan looked like. Mm-hmm.

This movie was so well-cast (though KH still annoyed me a little. I caught some side-talking, by the by). Definitely my favorite summer flick.
